Feeling No - Pain 2020
The photographic work aims to raise awareness of the underrepresentation of Black women in the field of technology and its consequences on the development of biased AI systems. The inspiration comes from the artist's personal experience with technology's bias and the Eurocentric dominance in technology. The work uses transparent props such as laptops and mobile phones as a representation of the inaccessibility and lack of representation in some areas of technology.
